Futureye's major contribution to sustainable development is through our client work. However our operation does have a small impact on the economy, society and environment and we believe in doing all we can to minimise our negative impacts and enhance our positive contribution. We are committed to:
- Pay and rewards based on merit and contribution
- A workplace free of discrimination and sexual harassment
- The health and wellbeing of our team
- Enabling our team to fulfill their potential
- Minimising energy use and offsetting our greenhouse gas impact
- Reducing waste and recycling
- Partnering with academic and community organisations to further knowledge in sustainable development
- Measuring and reducing our impacts.
Measuring our progress
As part of our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact, Futureye has prepared its 2009 Communication on Progress.
UN Global Compact
Futureye is also a part of the UN Global Compact and Katherine Teh-White is on the board.
The UN Global Compact is not a regulatory instrument, but rather a voluntary initiative that relies on public accountability, transparency and disclosure to complement regulation and to provide a space for innovation.
