Sustainability 101

What it means, who is affected, how you can adapt

The concept of ‘Sustainability’ is rapidly coming to define the context for how companies and governments are judged. Futureye has developed Sustainability '101', going beyond the "buzz words" and providing a plain English introduction to the Sustainability era.

At this workshop, you will learn about common definitions of 'Sustainability' and 'Sustainable Development', their dimensions (global through to local; current and future generations, individual and societal, etc.) and the policy context - from the Brundtland Commission and the Earth Summits to today's expectations.

You will also learn about emerging stakeholder expectations and shifting public values driving the issue, and discuss possible pathways to a more sustainable future for your organisation.
