
Matt Trewin
Director
Matthew He is a specialist in the agribusiness and resource management industries and has a broad network across these sectors. In addition to his corporate experience, Matthew is a fifth-generation primary producer and manages a broad-acre cropping enterprise. In addition to his personal farming interests, he is currently a director of Horticulture Australia Council.
He has championed a number of sustainability initiatives including the development of a Water Stewardship Program, which is the most advanced known working model in the world of a water usage/irrigation standard. It was featured at the World Water Forum in Istanbul in 2009 and has been adopted by a number of corporate and government entities in Australia.
Through his oversight of water stewardship and corporate social responsibility programs, he has developed a deep appreciation of the value of environmental management and performance to corporate brands, values and risk management measures as well as the broader social, economic and environmental implications.
